Gammelgården
At Gammelgården’s Open-Air museum are seven buildings from the 18th century with an old-style farmhouse, outhouses, loft-shed and blacksmith's work-shop.
One of the buildings was converted into a cafe a few years ago, "Café Gammelgården", which is open from June until August. We can warmly recommend the freshly baked waffles served with raspberry jam and whipped cream!
There is even a small outdoor stage where different types of musical entertainment can be enjoyed throughout the summer. Traditionally, residents of Köping celebrate mid-summer here.
